How to get to Wenceslas Square by metro
Overview
Wenceslas Square is the main boulevard of the New Town, nearly 750 metres long. Its upper end is marked by the statue of St. Wenceslas and the National Museum, while the lower end opens into the city's pedestrian zone. The square has witnessed pivotal moments in Czech history. It is superbly served by the metro: the lower end by Můstek station (Lines A and B), the upper end by Muzeum station (Lines A and C).
How to get there
The easiest option is to get off at Můstek station (Lines A and B), whose exit opens straight onto the lower part of Wenceslas Square – you're there within a minute. If you'd rather start by the National Museum at the top, get off at Muzeum station (Lines A and C). From there you can walk the whole square downhill back to Můstek.
