Yes — it knows all 58 stations and automatically picks the fastest combination of lines; each transfer counts as roughly 3 minutes (at the Muzeum, Můstek and Florenc interchange stations).
A basic 30-minute ticket costs 39 Kč, a 90-minute transfer ticket 50 Kč. You transfer for free onto the metro, trams and buses for the whole validity period.
