Muzeum opened on 9 May 1974. It is stop 10 of 17 on Line A, between Můstek and Náměstí Míru. It is one of the three interchange stations of the Prague metro, where lines A and C meet. The timetable puts Můstek 2 minutes away and Florenc 3 minutes away. On a weekday the PID timetable has 1188 trains calling here in both directions, the first leaving at 04:47 and the last at 00:07.
