The first trains leave around 4:45 AM, and the last departures are around midnight (12:00 AM). After the metro stops running, night trams 91–99 and night buses in the 900+ series take over, running all night at intervals of around 30 minutes. Exact times vary by station and day of the week — check dpp.cz or the PID Lítačka app for details.
Florenc is an interchange station of the Prague Metro on lines B and C — the transfer between lines takes place directly within the station, with no need to go up to street level. You can find the full list of stops and approximate travel times on the relevant line’s page.
A basic 30-minute PID ticket costs 39 CZK (19 CZK reduced fare), while a 90-minute ticket with unlimited transfers costs 50 CZK. The best value is buying through the PID Lítačka app, where fares are slightly cheaper, or a prepaid 30-day Lítačka pass for 550 CZK. Paper tickets can be bought from vending machines right in the station concourse.
The vast majority of Prague Metro stations are now equipped with elevators and are wheelchair accessible; Line B and the newer sections of Lines A and C have step-free access at nearly every station. We recommend checking the current status of elevators (e.g. temporary outages) on dpp.cz or on the information board in the station.
Folding bikes and strollers are allowed on the metro without restriction. Standard bicycles may be brought outside the morning and afternoon rush hours (usually outside 6:30–8:00 AM and 2:00–4:00 PM on weekdays); on weekends and public holidays, bikes may be carried at any time.
